The consult is built around a 30-minute doctor-led session, supported by 30 minutes of preparation and analysis beforehand so your clinician arrives with context on your profile.

During the session, your clinician reviews your metabolic picture, which may include hormones, glucose and insulin, alongside a personalised nutrition review.

Together, you outline a practical strategy aimed at sustainable fat loss, lean muscle preservation, steadier energy and improved metabolic health.

Any recommendations are personalised to your circumstances and may include nutrition changes, training guidance, supplementation, further testing, follow-up monitoring or prescription options where appropriate.

The goal is not a quick-fix plan. The goal is a clear, clinically responsible roadmap that helps you understand what is driving your results and what to do next.

Blood tests are recommended but not required for the Metabolic & Weight Management Consult. They are not a condition of booking, so you can attend without them.

That said, markers such as glucose and insulin can give your clinician a clearer view of your metabolic health, which may help make the resulting plan more precise. Where testing is advised, it is billed separately from the consult fee.

If you already have recent results, you can share them ahead of your session. Your WellNest clinician will let you know whether further testing would add value for your specific goals.
