About the role
Help build the financial and operational foundations of a future market leader in integrated healthcare and healthspan. At WellNest, we’re connecting medicine, diagnostics, prevention and recovery under one roof and one group, with technology, AI and reliable data at the heart of how we intend to grow.
You will own day-to-day operational discipline and financial coordination: keeping cash, billing, suppliers, stock and reporting accurate, timely and useful. Working with our accountant, clinicians and technology team, you’ll build systems that support a consistent patient experience today and a larger, internationally connected business over time.
The Operations Manager – Clinic & Laboratory Expansion leads the launch programme and wider expansion delivery. You will work together on project affordability and commitments, while owning ongoing financial controls, commercial reporting and daily operating discipline.
Apply with your CV, a brief cover letter and the five application answers. Include your exact qualification, awarding institution and field of study; expected annual cost to company (CTC) in ZAR; notice period; earliest start; and Cape Town availability or relocation needs. A photograph and current CTC are optional and are not required for assessment.

What success looks like
- Now and during expansion: establish a reliable financial baseline, cash forecast, controls and operating rhythm for the existing clinic; give expansion leaders clear affordability and commitment information.
- Through launch and the following year: integrate new services into billing, stock, reporting and staffing routines. Improve unit economics, capacity and patient experience, and replace avoidable manual work with tested digital workflows.
- As the group grows: help shape financial planning, comparable performance measures and operating controls across services and prospective international locations. Develop the team and transfer proven practices with our overseas sister company. Responsibility can broaden with demonstrated delivery and approved growth plans.
- Leadership has a clear view of cash, commitments and performance. Reconciliations are timely, discrepancies resolved and payments controlled. Technology improves the reliability of information and releases time for care. Teams understand their responsibilities, and the business has repeatable foundations for sustainable growth.
